1. Use the OMAM Descriptive paragraph handout received in class to plan and write a descriptive paragraph about a place that gives you a certain feeling. Start by organizing your ideas about the place by completing the thought balloon on the second page of the handout. Then write your paragraph on separate paper. Include the name of the place and the feeling it gives you in the topic sentence. Then in sentence 2, start to use spatial order signals and a type of organization (left to right, far to near, etc. *see AW pg.62 for ideas on spatial organization) to organize the location of things in your paragraph. Your paragraph should be a minimum of one page (double spaced/skip lines).

2. Prepare for a quiz on non-count/count nouns. You need to memorize 11-3 and 11-4 words on pages 314-315 in FEG to do this.
